We’re a Richmond-based digital marketing shop with a vested interest in the local business community. We launched in 2007 and quickly began building a reputation for excellence in website design and development as well as effective digital marketing.
Our philosophy is simple: Be BOLD. Be decent to one another. Our mission is similarly simple: to establish a long-term working relationship with every client. For us, this specifically means getting to know you and your specific needs, delivering products and services that make you happy, treating clients and suppliers alike with mutual respect.
We also take seriously our responsibility to contribute to our community. We connect with our community with a grassroots style of engagement, working side-by-side with local small businesses and organizations. This approach keeps us in tune with what’s going on in Central Virginia.
This company is my passion. It started as a hobby that soon grew into entrepreneurship as I realized I could use my talents to help local businesses rather than corporate stockholders. The light went off in my head and everything changed for me. When you work with me, you get more than 30 years of experience in the tech industry and web technologies space. You also get dedication and drive, my devotion to small and local businesses, and my commitment to our community. I know my stuff, and I make sure my clients reap the benefits.
I’m a large human with a bold way of making my way through the world. I embrace boldness as a personal and business philosophy. And by that I mean playing to win rather than play not to lose.
I grew up in Florida but have called RVA home for over 30 years. I studied at Virginia Commonwealth University. And I’m an active member of Synapse, a collaborative in which business and nonprofit communities work together for good.

Our company name is a reflection of founder Blair Neher’s personality – it’s light, it’s fun, it’s bold. It’s also a reflection of the realities of digital marketing complexities – it’s a jungle out there, and trying to cut a path through the tangle requires an expert guide. Finally, the name reminds us that while humans are the dominant species on Earth, we share about 99% of our DNA with chimpanzees – a humbling yet thought-provoking insight.
BOLDRVA Bold is what we call our focus on community. It’s part of the Power of Bold – we sincerely believe in boldly offering our time and talents to give back, to contribute to society, to lead by example. That’s why we’ve embedded community consciousness and service into our company culture, partnering with Synapse, a networking collaboration with a mission to unite the business and nonprofit communities. We are proud of our work with the nonprofit community, especially our pro bono work with such organizations as United Way of Hopewell, Hopewell Historic Foundation, Friends of the Lower Appomattox River, Chesterfield Food Bank, RVA Charity Golf Tournament, and River City Inclusive Gymnastics. RVA isn’t just where we live, work and play. RVA is part of the fabric of our family, and we believe in taking care of family.
